- Delivery preparation and shipping coordination
Quality, Traceability, and Classification
We maintain material traceability from steel supplier through final test certificate. All pressure-retaining components are tested to the required code (PED, ASME, or classification society rules), NDT is performed by certified personnel, and dimensional reports are produced for every critical feature.
As an ISO 9001 certified company, we document every step of the manufacturing process and deliver a complete data book with the equipment. Classification bodies including DNV, BV, ABS, and CCS are familiar partners — we routinely host their surveyors for witness testing.
Factory Acceptance Testing and Lead Times
FAT is where design decisions meet reality. We run functional tests under realistic load conditions, stroke and pressure envelopes, and verify that the equipment behaves as predicted. For heave compensators, this includes gas charging, stiffness verification, damping characterisation, and — where applicable — control system commissioning. Customers are welcome to witness FAT in person.
Typical lead times for custom hydraulic cylinders are 4–10 weeks from order. Full compensator systems, including design, procurement, and classification, run from 3 to 9 months depending on size and certification scope. Contact us to discuss your project — we can build to your drawings or deliver a complete designed-and-built system.
